Ornella Lokala Lokaso is a Congolese American Respiratory Care Therapist with nearly 10 years of experience serving patients in the greater Seattle area. She is deeply committed to advancing respiratory health and bringing culturally responsive care to diverse communities. Guided by her faith in Christ, Ornella combines clinical expertise with compassion to improve patient outcomes. At this year’s conference, she will address “COVID-19: Lessons from Infrastructure Gaps and the Urgent Need for Scalable Respiratory Care Manufacturing”, highlighting the challenges exposed by the pandemic in Africa and the opportunities to build stronger, more sustainable health systems for the future.
